My boy

My one and only son. Sweet young man with a heart for Jesus. Where did the time go with this boy? 18.5 years ago, my life changed by the sweet blessing of Trevor. Today, we went to KCC (our community college) and got him registered for fall. I know he really wants to be at Columbia College but we all decided it's best if he starts at KCC. He will get to Columbia, I know it, CJ knows it and Trevor does too.

As we were walking out of the accounting office at his new school, he put his arm around me, kissed the top of my head and said "thank you mama". Oh my heart...more tears...

Oh, I will be there before I know it! We have a community college about 5 minutes from our house - obviously I am rooting for it! Iowa State University is half an hour from us and the University of Iowa is an hour and a half - those would be great for bachelors :-)

Oh Trevor, you are such a fine young man. Always keep JESUS first and you will not have worldly woes like other young people that go astray.
God Bless
Your older cuz in NC,
Sandy

Ohhh, I can only imagine the pride and the pains of seeing your precious boy growing into an independent young man and off to college! I'm only a couple of years behind you... YIKES! But you've clearly did a wonderful job raising him up in the ways he should go, and God is walking each step of his young life with him!

Also, thinking of your precious Linzhi Rose as she goes in for the procedure on her arm? ...and keeping her mama in my prayers, too. It's so hard to see our children go through pain. But it will be worth the end results. Praying for wisdom for her surgeons with each move they make. When exactly does this take place? Thinking of you all and sending hugs!!

love and blessings,
~ Tanya

I can't believe I will be in that position in such a short amount of time.
Time flies that's for sure!
