Congratulations Trevor!

Bright and early this morning, I took my eldest child and only son Trevor to get his driver's license. In our town, if you go to the local DMV you're going to wait 3-4 hours to be treated terrible (no joke), our local office has a bad reputation for nasty attitudes, so I drove Trevor to a tiny town about an hour away where the service is great and we were in and out within 45 minutes! Trevor was so nervous along with cold & clammy hands. I tried my best to reassure him but we've all been there and the nerves do get the best of you. And let me add he had no interest in the mamarozzi, I had to beg for a picture or two but I was able to snap one as he was pulling out for his test with the officer. It was a lump in the throat day for me in many ways. He is my only boy and we've always had a close, honest relationship. What can I say, I love my boy!

I'm the kind of mom (and I know there's a lot out there that share my feelings), I want to know where my son's heart is with the Lord. So out of the blue yesterday, I asked him "Trev, if you died tomorrow where do you believe your soul will go?" Without hesitation or doubt, he answered "with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" I still get misty typing that. My son is saved! What a reassuring feeling for me, I know my son has the shield of Christ and a passion for his Lord. What a blessing for me to know my son is a child of God.

I'm so proud of my boy.
