Sending love to our baby!

All I can say is that we are in LOVE with this girly! We are all still just over the moon about Madelyn and the little girls talk about their BIG sister in China everyday. Today, I mailed out her 6.2 lb care package...I really tried to keep it at or around 3 lbs but that was just too impossible for this over-excited mama!!! In my excitement, I forgot to snap pictures of her gifts... *sigh*... My MIL and FIL sent some goodies and a note with pictures to her as well. This is what was in the box...

A pretty outfit (pink and white).

A purse filled with lip gloss, nail polish, head bands, and pretty hair clips.

A journal with a pink pen.

A teddy bear (from Grandma and Grandpa Sills)

Socks and panties (from G & G too)

A photo album with her picture on the cover with about 25 pics of her new family!

I also sent the care takers some small gifts along with lots of candy for the kiddos.

Does anyone have any suggestions for nanny gifts??? I always feel stumped when shopping for them....???

When we were in the adoption process for Linzhi, I was a bit anxious to say the least. I freaked out about all the paperwork, deadlines...Well, EVERYTHING. I really didn't allow myself to just enjoy the ride. I regret that in many ways so I learned my lesson and totally changed my way of thinking this time around. A lot of it has to do with the way Madelyn was given to us. I trust HIM completely and as much as I want to be on a plane to China tomorrow, I know He has this under complete control and we'll go when He says... I have to say, it's quite liberating!

On a side note, I am working on another blog for Madelyn's fundraiser. Becky @ http://busymamablogdesign.blogspot.com/ is working on a beautiful design AND "My four blessings" is getting a new look too! Becky is raising money to bring her sweet Jada home from China too! She does beautiful work so if anyone is looking to redo a blog, I highly recommend her!! =)

Love to all,
Amy
